Those Who Can't Do; Teach!

Education sector of the country has been one of the most corrupted divisions of government departments. It is noticeably as mediocre as it can get. The worst thing is that the ones sitting on top in giant cozy chairs don’t even realize how pivotal education is.

Teaching is sacred
According to me, the basic yet most important factor that has been a major course of corruption is the recruitment of teachers. As much as it sounds normal, behind the scene it reflects the harsh reality. “You pay, you get” has been a general rule in education department. Most of the teachers are recruited regardless of their merit certificates or sanctions but either against money or some political or VIP source.

Let's Blame Blame!

Pointing fingersThe situation of Karachi has been at its worse recently. We see every political party emphasizing on getting things under control yet nothing effective has been seen. All we see is a blame game going on right now. Who should be blamed for the current instability; government or any other political party or police?

I say let’s get a broader view. The causes of current violence and killing spree are way more than mentioned above. It’s the birth of blunders and mess that we carried on since a long time. I will state few points that I personally believe are the root cause of today’s chaos.

Make History - World Record for Most People Singing Pakistan National Anthem

Last night I as talking to one of my relative and telling him about the upcoming record breaking event of "WORLD RECORD FOR MOST PEOPLE SINGING NATIONAL ANTHEM", by singing Pakistan's national anthem.

I was amazed to see how negative his thoughts were towards this event. According to him this event is of no good. It is just a waste of time and just another excuse to party. He believes if we really want to make a difference or want to bring change then we should do something better. He also added in a very grinning manner that this habit of our nation to has brought us here that we don't even think straight and prioritize.

MAKTOOB: A possible excuse

I'm writing this post as a reply on a topic of "Maktoob" on one of my newly followed blog "Mrs. Usuf's World". You can read the post "Maktoob" on this link http://tinylink.in/LFG

I accept the fact that everything happens for a reason. I would also agree with the theory of "Maktoob", but honestly you can't always go with it. I mean I'm a pretty realistic person. Although I don't have any doubt that things happens according to the Creator of the universe the Almighty Allah but my mind Lso tells me that I just can't keep doing wrong and keep saying "Maktoob". Even as ordered by Allah S.W.T., a Muslim must atleast learn enough to know what's wrong or right for him/her.

In short, I mean to say that OK! everything happens cause of Maktoob but even that happens cause we choose that path. When we say that it was written, it doesn't mean that it is fixed. There is a Maktoob for every action that a human do or for every path that a human chooses. Aleast an effort is a must.

Now the decision becomes the human choice, rest is Maktoob!
